Raisin’ Whalen! – A Night to Save a Legend

We are thrilled to invite you, your friends, and family to our annual fundraising dinner, “Rasin’ Whalen!” taking place on Friday, May 23
at the Current River Community Centre (450 Dewe Ave).
This event is not just a celebration of community spirit but also a vital opportunity to support the Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay’s mission to provide public access transportation artefacts such as the National Historic Site of the former Canadian Coast Guard Alexander Henry Icebreaker and lighthouse supply ship.
These connections with our transportation stories are supported by your presence and generosity which will help us continue this important work, and we are deeply grateful for your support.
Doors open at 5:00 PM, and we encourage you to arrive early to secure your spot and enjoy the games of chance, auctions for locally made art and grab a drink at the bar. Wine & Beer are available
– Penny Auction: $20 for 10 tickets – a fun way to win fantastic prizes!
– Silent Auction: Bid on unique items – don’t forget your cheque book, or we can arrange online invoicing
– Live Auction: Exciting live bidding on one-of-a-kind art pieces and experiences.
