50/50 Fundraiser

When you purchase a Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay 50/50 ticket, you’re doing more than entering to win—you’re helping safeguard the marine and transportation heritage of Thunder Bay and the surrounding region.

Every ticket supports our city’s proud floating landmark, the Alexander Henry, a former Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker now serving as a living Ship Museum. Since 2017, thousands of visitors each year have stepped aboard to explore its decks, tour the exhibits, and experience the history that helped shape our port and community.

Your support also helps the Museum preserve and protect historic artifacts—like those from the century-old James Whalen Tug—and continue our mission to keep this legacy alive. With no municipal or federal operating funding, we rely on community partners like you to help maintain the ship, care for our exhibits, employ summer guides, and continue vital preservation work along the Thunder Bay Marina’s Pool Six Wharf.

All proceeds from this raffle go directly toward maintaining and preserving our region’s transportation history. Your ticket does more than offer a chance to win—it fuels education, preservation, and pride for generations to come.

Join us in keeping Thunder Bay’s stories afloat. Buy your 50/50 ticket today and help ensure that our past has a lasting future.  City Lottery Licence #RAF 1512519
